Lady dies in rollover crash Saturday morning on I-580 in Oakland – CBS San Francisco

OAKLAND (CBS SF) – A woman was killed early Saturday morning when the car she was driving rolled over while trying to suddenly exit Interstate 580 onto Highway 13 in Oakland.

California Highway Patrol officials found a silver Chevrolet Malibu upside down in trees by the side of the road at Highway 13 exit of I-580 going west at around 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

According to the CHP, the adult driver had not put on a seat belt at the time of the accident. No other vehicles were involved.

It is unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved and the woman’s identity will be withheld until the family is notified, the CHP said.
