Oakland Panthers leave Oakland Coliseum for the San Jose Arena for the 2022 IFL season

Yes. Oakland is about to lose another professional sports team, and this time around, that organization had a chance to play at the Oakland Arena of the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Complex.

The Oakland Panthers, the Indoor Football League team co-owned by Marshawn Lynch and Roi Choi, and former Executive Director of Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Joint-Powers Authority Scott McKibben as President, will announce they have signed a contract Have signed up to their San Jose Games at the SAP Center in San Jose.

That news came to this vlogger after the Coliseum JPA meeting this morning, at which the organization’s head, legendary Henry Gardner, said the two could not get to the agreed points. Gardner said he wanted to make some money on the deal.

Personally, I think Henry got it wrong. If you have a startup sports team, price tickets based on growth and then make up for the loss by spreading other events in the arena and stadium. What I’m saying is that Henry didn’t know he was working with a tenant in a mall and not an individual organization.

I was made aware of this possibility last year. It has been said that the operators of the San Jose Arena were using the Colosseum’s comparatively high rates (their claim, not mine) as a deal point to get event producers there and keep them from going to Oakland.

In other words, San Jose is aggressive where Oakland is not.

Oakland is on a sad path of failure that reaches nightmare levels.

Stay tuned.

Note from Zennie62Media’s Zennie62Media YouTube blog and the Oakland News Now Today SF Bay Area blog: This video blog post demonstrates the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Zennie62Media, Inc. network for video blogging -Mobile Media Systems, which launched in June 2018, is an integral part of Zennie62Media, Inc.’s new and innovative approach to news media production. What we call “the third wave of the media”. The uploaded video is from a vlogger with the Zennie62 on YouTube partner channel, is then uploaded to the Oakland News Now site and Zennie62’s own social media pages and is automatically formatted. The overriding goal is smartphone-based reporting in real time on site about news, interviews, observations and events all over the world and within seconds, not hours. Now it is reported with a smartphone: No heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary. The secondary goal is faster and very inexpensive production and distribution of media content. We found that there is a discrepancy between post length and time to product and revenue generated. This means that the problem is much smaller, but by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system’s network encoding and is looking for interested content and media technology partners.
