Oakland Police Division search assist with the unsolved One Yr Anniversary Homicide of Henry Texada – CBS San Francisco

OAKLAND (CBS SF) – The Oakland Police Department sought public help in the unsolved murder of Henry Texada, a college student who was shot dead Wednesday a year ago.

Texada, 23, was on the 2900 block of 68th Ave. on April 28, 2020 when an unlabeled silver 2020 Nissan Armada was pulled into its location at around 1:46 p.m. Police said several people got out of the vehicle and shot Texada.

The investigators were able to retrieve the Nissan SUV rented in Reno. Police said Texada had close family ties with the Visitacion Valley in San Francisco and was attending Laney College at the time of his murder.

Oakland Police released a video marking the one year anniversary of Texada’s death in hopes of generating additional clues.
