Oakland – 2021 Oakland Technical High School Valedictorian and future Stanford Cardinal Ahmed Muhammad, his science company Kits Cubed and California Life Sciences are hosting a science fair in front of Oakland Tech during Labor Day weekend. Kits Cubed will donate 1,000 Kits Cubed science kits to OUSD elementary school students and will have interactive booths / demonstrations from local science organizations. The kits are free for primary school students while stocks last. The event is free for students of all ages and their families.

“We are holding this event because we want to keep making science special for our youth in Oakland,” exclaimed Ahmed Muhammad. “We hope that students will have a fun, interactive day that will fill their minds with excitement and further stimulate their scientific imaginations. By partnering with many local, community-based organizations, we look forward to bringing our community around science together. And for all of the Cubed Science Kits we donate, our goal is to continue introducing our youth to science in a fun, affordable, and accessible way – with brand new experiments designed specifically for OUSD students! ”
